He switched from print media to radio journalism in 1987, working as a free-lance reporter for Radio Hamburg. Later that year he started his first business – an art gallery/restaurant, which he sold in 1989, after deciding to move to the Turks & Caicos Islands (TCI).

Titus arrived in the Turks & Caicos in December 1989 and in 1990 founded the territories' first fine arts gallery, Bamboo Gallery. During the past 18 years, Titus has played a very active role in the development of the Turks & Caicos Islands, serving as the President of the Providenciales Chamber of Commerce for seven years, as well as representing the German Embassy in Kinston in the TCI.

Actively involved in the development industry since 2004, when he helped with the opening of The Palms resort, in an advisory capacity. From 2005 - 2007 he worked as Vice President of Marketing for the Royal Reef Resort. In 2007 Titus co-founded Lucayan Realty Limited, in the capacity of Managing Director, and later that year was invested as the first German Honorary Consul to the Turks & Caicos Islands.

Currently residing in Providenciales and fluent in English, French and German, Titus can be found sailing, swimming, singing jazz or reading a good book when he’s not serving the prestigious Lucayan Realty affluent clientele.
